Why Pirooz Didn't Turn One Year Old, You're Not in My Place to Feel the Heartburn

Why Pirooz didn’t make it to one year, you’re not in my place to feel your heart burn.

In early March, news came that Pirooz was not well. According to a report by Dr. Peter Caldwell from the African Cheetah Breeding Center, dated and signed on May 25th, it is confirmed that Pirooz had kidney failure from the start.

Based on this report and what Peyman Mohibi, the veterinarian, tells Khabar Online, the antibiotic prescribed for Pirooz from the beginning was wrong, and this could be one of the main reasons for the cub’s kidney failure.

Alireza Shahdari, Pirooz’s caretaker and nurse, remember how much you told me how lucky I was, wishing you were in my place? Now it’s me saying how lucky all of you are not to be in my place now, feeling your heart burn like mine and having nowhere to turn. After all these years, I’ve realized that this work doesn’t align with my emotions, and I should have been like many others working in wildlife, whose feelings are no different from wood and iron, but that’s not who I am.
