With the Resolution of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, a Hebrew-Language TV Channel is Launched in Iran

With the resolution of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, a Hebrew-language television network will be launched in Iran.

In a new move, the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution has tasked the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting to launch a television network in Hebrew.

According to official sources, the aim of this project is to counter Israel’s media propaganda. This resolution, which was approved under the chairmanship of Masoud Pezeshkian, is part of a broader plan titled ‘Cultural and Media Policies and Actions in Special Conditions of the Country.’

One of the clauses of this plan states that professors and researchers should also be guided to meet security and military needs.
