Women Spectators at the Iran vs Russia Match

Women to Attend Iran vs. Russia Match

Mehdi Taj, the President of the Football Federation, stated today, Sunday, in the General Assembly of the Football Federation, regarding the two upcoming friendly matches of the national team against Russia and Kenya, that we hope to hold the upcoming matches against Russia and Kenya with the presence of women at Azadi Stadium.

This is a beginning for effective steps towards women’s presence in stadiums.

If spectators behave appropriately during the presence of women, it will ensure their enthusiastic attendance continues.

The Iranian national football team will face Russia and Kenya in friendly matches on March 23rd and 28th, respectively, which are scheduled to be held at Azadi Stadium.
