Xi in meeting with Blinken: The two countries should be partners, not competitors
Xi Jinping, the President of China, in a meeting on Friday, April 27th, with Antony Blinken, the U.S. Secretary of State, referring to some positive developments since his meeting last year with Joe Biden, said that the two countries should be partners and not competitors.
According to the Chinese President, there are still issues that need to be resolved.
In this meeting, he emphasized three fundamental principles: mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation.
Xi, addressing the American side in this meeting, said that the earth is big enough to accommodate the joint development and prosperity of China and the United States.
The President of China stressed that resolving fundamental issues between the two countries would lead to stable and forward-moving relations.
