Yedioth Ahronoth: Netanyahu and Trump mainly discussed Iran
A senior Israeli official told the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper that Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump mainly discussed Iran during their meeting on Tuesday at the White House, and that the meeting was a genuine consultation and exchange of views.
According to this official, Netanyahu did not tell Trump that Israel prefers to attack Iran again. He also claimed that although there are centrifuges in the underground facility at Mount Kalang, Netanyahu does not believe that uranium enrichment is currently taking place there.
The official also said that during this meeting, Netanyahu showed Trump maps of Israeli positions in Syria and Lebanon and emphasized that as long as the threats continue, Israel will not withdraw from these areas. According to him, Trump is considering three options: an agreement, continuing the blockade, or resuming and intensifying military attacks.
