Government Newspaper Attacks Molavi Abdul Hamid, Claims His Statements Incited and Set the Stage for Unrest
The official government newspaper, Iran, wrote that the enemy-favored statements of Molavi Abdul Hamid, which were eagerly republished by American and Saudi media, were among the factors that incited and set the stage for unrest. This has so far led to the death and injury of dozens of people in Zahedan and the assassination of several law enforcement officers and Shia clerics in other cities of the province.
