Zabihollah Azami, the representative of Jiroft, did not sign the statement of 227 representatives regarding the request for the execution of suppressing protesters

Zabihollah Azimi, the representative of Jiroft, stated that he did not sign the statement by 227 representatives requesting the execution and suppression of protesters.

Mr. Azimi advised representatives and legal and natural persons to refrain from making extrajudicial requests that might question the independence of the judiciary, and to avoid any actions that could be exploited by the enemies of this nation and country to undermine and cast doubt on the independence of the judiciary.

He said that for this reason, he personally did not sign any statement or text from the judiciary regarding the confrontation and execution of protesters, students, and elites in recent incidents, especially the one known as the statement by 227 members of parliament.

This member of parliament has called for the recognition of the right to protest and the freedom of detained students and schoolchildren.
