Zafarghandi: Without reforms, we will become the oldest country in the region in 20 years
Mohammadreza Zafarghandi, the Minister of Health of the Islamic Republic, warned that the continued decline in population growth could turn Iran into the oldest country in the region in the next 20 to 25 years.
He also reported on the deadly impacts of air pollution, stating that this crisis claims 40,000 lives annually and imposes $12 billion in economic damages on the country.
