Zafarghandi: Without reform, we will become the oldest country in the region in 20 years
Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, the Minister of Health of the Islamic Republic, warned that the continued decline in population growth could make Iran the oldest country in the region in the next 20 to 25 years.
He also reported on the deadly impacts of air pollution, stating that this crisis claims 40,000 lives annually and imposes an economic loss of 12 billion dollars on the country.
