Zahedan People Once Again Took to the Streets

The people of Zahedan took to the streets once again.

In the twenty-first week since the Bloody Friday massacre in Zahedan and two days after the death of Ebrahim Rigi, a protester from Zahedan, in detention, despite the heavy security atmosphere, the people of this city chanted slogans against the government in the streets.

This demonstration took place while reports from Friday morning indicated that the Makki Mosque in Zahedan and Khorramshahr Street in this city were surrounded by security forces, and people heading towards the mosque were being arrested.

According to these reports, the security and military forces, with their extensive presence, intended to prevent people from gathering at the Makki prayer hall and protesting in Zahedan.
