Zahra Nejad Bahram, University Professor, Says Filtering Has Taken Away Income Opportunities from Women

Zahra Nejad Bahram, a university professor, said filtering took away income opportunities from women.

Nejad Bahram, a former member of the Tehran City Council, said that on Instagram, many women had created over 10 million jobs and were working and earning income. This was ongoing before the filtering, and 10 million jobs is a significant number. Unfortunately, you see that with the filtering, this opportunity was taken away from women.

This means not only did we not create capacity for them, but we also took away their capacity. However, I always believe that women are more capable than these discussions suggest and can still create opportunities and capacity for themselves. But ultimately, this is a long path that has led to political participation today.
