Zahra Rahimi, CEO of the Imam Ali Society, said the judge assured us not to worry, but we saw no justice

Zahra Rahimi, CEO of the Imam Ali Society, said the judge of the case told us to rest assured, but we saw no justice.

Zahra Rahimi, CEO of the Imam Ali Society, said in Clubhouse that after the dissolution of the Imam Ali Society in June 2022, our trials began. The judge of the case told us to rest assured because no one has a video of me, and I will judge fairly. However, the court proceedings gradually showed that there was no sign of truth, and although we did not expect fair rulings, we were still shocked by heavy sentences like 19 years.

Sharmin Meymandinejad, founder of the Imam Ali Society, said that as the CEO of a civil organization that played an important role in poverty alleviation with over 6,000 children under its care, I have been sentenced to 19 years in prison.
