Zakani: Chinese buses are cheaper than domestic buses

Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, regarding the purchase of electric buses from China, has stated that these buses have very good quality and capabilities, and the price difference between these buses and domestic electric buses is between 5 to 6 billion tomans per bus.

Zakani, whose previous decision to entrust house construction to the Chinese was controversial, further defended the purchase of Chinese buses by saying that, in fact, Chinese buses are much cheaper than domestic ones. For 2,500 electric buses, about 15 trillion tomans will be saved.
