Zarghami: Confrontation with women over hijab can be a tourist attraction

Iran’s Minister of Tourism has stated that confronting women over hijab can be an attraction for foreigners. Ezzatollah Zarghami, in an interview with ILNA, said regarding the impact of videos showing confrontations with women over mandatory hijab on the arrival of foreign tourists to Iran, that anything can be a tourist attraction for foreign tourists, even this, they might take pictures of it. Mr. Zarghami said that foreign tourists sometimes even consider wearing a headscarf as a cultural and social tourism phenomenon.
