Zelensky: The EU Summit Is Incomplete Without Ukraine

Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, on Thursday urged his Western allies to provide more weapons to the country. He emphasized that Ukraine will win the war against Russia and also noted that his country should join the European Union as soon as possible, as he believes that the Union will not be complete without Ukraine.

At the end of a 16-hour summit that extended into Friday, and after Mr. Zelensky had left the meeting, EU leaders committed to doing everything possible to support Ukraine. However, they did not provide a specific timeline for starting EU membership negotiations.
