Zelensky: The situation at the Zaporizhzhia power plant is dangerous

Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, warned on Friday night that the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant remains very dangerous.

He further emphasized that the International Atomic Energy Agency’s team should reach the plant as soon as possible.

Zelensky added that the withdrawal of Russian forces from Zaporizhzhia is crucial to avert the danger of bombing the plant or its power lines.

This news comes as RIA Novosti reported on Friday that following Ukrainian forces’ shelling, four rockets hit the radioisotope area of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
