Hossein Ghorbanzadeh’s disclosure about Esteghlal’s debt to Stramaccioni
If the Esteghlal officials had paid off this debt when Stramaccioni’s verdict against the club came in 1399, the case would have been closed with 45 billion tomans. But now, not only has the amount of the fine to Stramaccioni increased, but the euro price has also increased from 25,000 tomans to nearly 60,000 tomans, further burdening Esteghlal with the economic crisis and currency fluctuations.
However, Hossein Ghorbanzadeh, the head of the Privatization Organization, made a major disclosure in a television interview on Monday, stating that Esteghlal’s debt to Stramaccioni was deposited into the club’s account during the management period of Mostafa Ajorlou and Ali Fathollahzadeh. But they remained indifferent to paying off this heavy debt.
