Detention of several Pars Jonoubi contractors due to strike

Several contractors of Pars Jonoubi have been detained due to their participation in strikes.

Iranian media reports the detention of several contractors in the Pars Jonoubi economic zone for supporting workers’ strikes.

Fars News Agency, close to the Revolutionary Guards, wrote on Thursday that the arrest of these individuals was carried out through the surveillance of intelligence agents of the Ministry of Intelligence.

According to this report, these contractors have been accused of participating in counter-revolutionary activities, instigating strikes, and creating unrest in industrial development projects in the Pars Jonoubi region.

Pressure on the strikers in the Pars Jonoubi region is intensifying, as the CEO of the Pars Energy Special Economic Zone had previously threatened the workers who had gone on strike in various sectors of this region.
