Historical buildings in Isfahan collapsed due to land subsidence

Historical buildings in Isfahan have been affected by land subsidence.

In a report published in the Hemmihan newspaper on Thursday, 17th of Khordad, it was mentioned that all areas of the city have been affected by the problem of land subsidence, and it has reached close to the historical sites of Isfahan.

The report states that due to drought and the decrease in groundwater levels, the phenomenon of land subsidence is progressing at a faster pace and has reached the center of Isfahan.

An archaeologist, whose name was not disclosed according to Hemmihan, mentioned buildings such as Hakim Mosque, Atiq Bageh Shahshahan, Imam Door Hammam, Vazir Mosque and Ali Qoli Agha Hammam, and Seyed Mosque that have been affected by subsidence.
