The statement of the European members of the JCPOA does not justify Iran’s non-military nuclear program.
After the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency presented a report on the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Board of Governors of this international institution, three European countries that are members of the JCPOA announced that Iran’s actions in developing its atomic program have no non-military justification.
According to a joint statement by Germany, Britain, and France, the European members of the JCPOA, which was published on Wednesday, 16th of Khordad on the website of the British Foreign Ministry, no fundamental change in the behavior of the Islamic Republic is observed.
This statement further emphasizes that Iran has continued its non-justifiable tensions surrounding its nuclear program in recent months and has shown little inclination to clarify its nuclear activities, contrary to a joint statement made in March with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
