The Asara Tulip Festival was canceled due to the hijab

The Asara Tulip Festival was closed due to the mandatory hijab.

The Asara Tulip Festival was closed by order of the Karaj prosecutor due to the mandatory hijab.

According to ISNA, Ali Akbar Pahlavani, the director of Asara Tulip Garden, apologized for the violations that occurred during this festival and stated that they will try to continue the festival without any negative consequences.

Mr. Pahlavani stated that during this period, nearly 30,000 people visited Asara Tulip Garden daily, and there may be a few instances of violations, which they will try to prevent if the garden is reopened.

In recent days, a large number of commercial, recreational, and tourist centers in various cities of Iran have been closed by the police and judiciary because women did not observe the mandatory hijab. Yesterday, the director of inspection and supervision of guilds in Isfahan reported the closure of 69 shops in Isfahan due to warnings about unveiled women.
