Hassan Rouhani calls for legal action against Rahimpour Azghadi

One day after Hassan Rahimpour Azghadi indirectly accused former Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, of espionage, Rouhani requested in a letter to the judiciary to pursue legal action against this member of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.

Hassan Rouhani’s website stated on Tuesday, 19th of Ordibehesht, in a brief news article that Rouhani, in his letters to the judiciary, called for legal action and judicial investigation into the false statements and defamation made by Hassan Rahimpour Azghadi against him and his colleagues.

On the 18th of Ordibehesht, Azghadi, in response to the execution of Alireza Akbari, former deputy defense minister, indirectly accused Mr. Rouhani of espionage and stated that the enemy comes from within your most internal center.
