The head of the Central Intelligence Agency in Central Asia, Russia, is turning into an economic colony of China.
William Burns, the head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), has stated that Russia is facing increasing international isolation and is at risk of becoming an economic colony of China.
He said that Russia’s economic dependence on raw material exports and China’s transformation into its main market are factors contributing to Russia’s subordination to China.
Following the Western sanctions on Russia, the country has relied heavily on exporting its oil and gas to China at significant discounts, and it seeks military assistance from China due to ongoing conflicts and equipment shortages.
