Radan is taking necessary actions against celebrities protesting the hijab.

The Chief Commander of the Islamic Republic’s Law Enforcement Forces once again threatened that legal cases will be filed against women and girls who he claims unveil their hijab on social media or encourage others to remove their hijab.

Ahmadreza Radan, speaking to reporters in Qom Province, mentioned the law enforcement’s measures to combat women who do not comply with compulsory hijab. Online cases are being pursued through a program called the Four Observer.

He added that legal cases have been filed against some individuals, including celebrity figures, and necessary actions are being taken.

The Mizan News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Republic’s Judiciary, announced on June 12th that arrest warrants have been issued for Azadeh Samadi and Leila Boloukat, cinema and television actors, due to unveiling their hijab.
