Most drivers involved in fatal accidents have recently purchased their vehicles

The Director General of the Safety and Traffic Office of the Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization stated that since the start of the holidays until today, the number of reported fatalities from Nowruz accidents by the police has exceeded 500 people, which shows a 6% increase compared to Nowruz 1401.

Farhad Mehriari, stating that 45% of the recorded accidents during Nowruz were rollovers, emphasized that these accidents mainly lead to injuries and fatalities of passengers due to the vehicle’s lack of safety.
