The British Parliament has approved a tough measure against asylum seekers.
The English Channel is one of the shortest and deadliest illegal routes to reach Britain, and last year more than 45,000 asylum seekers crossed this route.
The government of Rishi Sunak has announced a review of laws to facilitate the expulsion of illegal immigrants as one of its priorities in order to reduce the entry of asylum seekers through the English Channel as much as possible.
Based on a law that was passed in the British Parliament on Friday, April 27th, illegal immigrants are not entitled to apply for asylum and their expulsion to Rwanda and other countries will be made easier.
