The representative of Urmia in the Parliament: We are witnessing populist actions by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade

Ruhollah Hazratpour, the representative of Urmia in the Parliament, stated that the majority of those requesting the impeachment of Mr. Fatemi Amin still emphasize the necessity of holding this impeachment, and the publication of some news about the withdrawal of the impeachers is probably media speculation.

Referring to some speculations about the withdrawal of some of the applicants for the impeachment of the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade in recent days, he said: Firstly, considering that the impeachment of Mr. Fatemi Amin has been officially received by the presiding board, according to the regulations, even if the number of signatures falls below the minimum of 10, the impeachment must still legally be held in the Parliament.

He added: Secondly, based on the latest follow-ups, the majority of those requesting the impeachment of Mr. Fatemi Amin, including myself, still emphasize the necessity of holding this impeachment, and the publication of some news about the withdrawal of the impeachers is probably media speculation.

Unfortunately, in recent days, we have been witnessing some populist actions from the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, one example of which is the overnight freeing of proxy accounts.
