Parviz Parastooei's reaction to Amir-Abdollahian's remarks: It's not a bad idea to also take a look at domestic neighbors

It wouldn’t hurt to take a closer look at our domestic neighbors, as Parviz Parastui reacted to Amir-Abdollahian’s remarks.

Parviz Parastui has responded to Amir-Abdollahian’s statements about Afghanistan on his Instagram page, requesting that Iran’s Foreign Minister also take a closer look at our domestic neighbors.

According to reports, during the Samarkand meeting, Iran’s Foreign Minister discussed the unresolved issue of drug trafficking with the Taliban delegation, despite America’s 20-year presence and the urgent need to control drug smuggling through Afghanistan’s borders to neighboring countries. He expressed concern about depriving Afghan women and girls of education and announced Iran’s readiness to help resolve this issue.

In response to these statements, Parviz Parastui wrote that there are over 12 million drug addicts in Iran, with four million and five hundred thousand of them being permanent users. Ten percent of the addicts are women, and thousands of them are children.

Mr. Parastui further wrote that seventy percent of Iranians, including women, men, girls, and children in deprived areas of Sistan and Baluchestan, do not have identification documents.
