Kimia Zand, injured in protests, says: 'I won't complain, but I'll claim my rights in the next fair system'

Kimia Zand, injured in the protests, says she won’t file a complaint but will claim her rights in the next fair system.

Following the filing of complaints by four individuals who suffered eye injuries during the recent protests, which lawyer Payam Derafshan reported, some well-known figures among these protesters have discussed on Instagram whether to file complaints or not.

Kimia Zand, a 26-year-old protester whose eye was injured by a paintball bullet during Mahsa Amini’s fortieth day, stated in her Instagram stories that she will postpone filing a complaint until the future freedom of Iran because she does not believe in justice being served in a system dominated by discrimination, injustice, and corruption. She conducted a poll about filing complaints and shared some responses on her Instagram.

Ghazal Ranjkesh, one of the most well-known individuals with eye injuries, had stated from the very first days that she filed a complaint to ensure the process of seeking justice is carried out.
