34% Increase in Housing Prices in Tehran Over One Year

The average housing price in the 22 districts of Tehran in August 2020 was approximately 23,110,000 tomans, which increased by about 34% to 30,970,000 tomans in August 2021.

In other words, during the last year of the twelfth government, the increase in housing prices was about 55% less than the increase during Raisi’s government. This occurred while the housing market was in recession and the number of transactions was declining. Source: Editorial
