A 64% decrease in Iran’s carpet and handicraft exports over the past 15 years

Statistics from the past 15 years show that the value of carpet and handicraft exports has decreased by 64%, dropping from about 600 million dollars in 2007 and 2008 to 154 million dollars in 2019, approximately 131 million dollars in 2020, and 215 million dollars in 2021. In other words, from 2007 to 2021, the exports of carpets and handicrafts have faced a 64% decline in dollar value.
