Statistics from the past 15 years show that the value of carpet and handicraft exports has faced a 64% decrease, dropping from around 600 million dollars in the years 2007 and 2008 to 154 million dollars in 2019, approximately 131 million dollars in 2020, and 215 million dollars in 2021. In other words, from 2007 to 2021, carpet and handicraft exports have encountered a 64% decline in terms of dollar value.
