A member of parliament says automotive industry violations are worse than those of Mobarakeh Steel
Lutfollah Siahkali, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, commented on the existing issues in the country’s automotive industry, stating that if the automotive industry and related matters are closely examined, it will be revealed that the situation is worse than the violations at Mobarakeh Steel. We need to address the question of why in our country, where the cost of gas supply or workers’ wages is much cheaper than in European countries, China, and Japan, lower-quality cars are produced and sold at a higher price. This situation indicates that we do not have proper management of costs. For example, in this industry, shell companies have been established where board members receive high salaries.
