A member of parliament says the misconduct in the automotive industry is worse than in Mobarakeh Steel
Lutfollah Siahkali, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, spoke about the issues present in the country’s automotive industry, stating that if the automotive industry and related matters are thoroughly examined, it will become clear that the situation is worse than the misconduct in Mobarakeh Steel. We must answer the question of why in our country, where the cost of gas supply or workers’ wages is much cheaper than in European countries, China, and Japan, cars of lower quality than those countries are produced and sold at a higher price. This situation shows that we do not have proper management in costs. For example, in this industry, fictitious companies have been created where the board members receive high salaries.
