3,000 people with respiratory issues went to medical centers

The Deputy of Treatment at Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in Ahvaz said that due to air pollution, three thousand people with respiratory issues went to medical centers.

Meysam Moazzi, the Deputy of Treatment at Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in Ahvaz, stated today in a gathering of reporters that from the beginning of the week until Tuesday, more than three thousand people visited the hospitals and medical centers of this university due to respiratory and cardiac issues.

He added that yesterday, over 650 people also visited the medical centers in the cities covered by Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in Ahvaz.

The Deputy of Treatment at Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences, referring to the readiness of the province’s health and treatment system to provide services to citizens, continued by advising citizens to avoid being outdoors during air pollution as much as possible and to keep doors and windows closed. He also advised patients with respiratory diseases to take their medications on time.
