Seyyed Mohammad Khatami’s presence at the mausoleum of Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani
Today, Seyyed Mohammad Khatami, Seyyed Mohammad Mousavi Khoeini Eshaq Velayati, Majid Ansari, and other members of the Association of Combatant Clerics attended the mausoleum of Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
Seyyed Mohammad Khatami, while attending the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini and participating in the ceremony of renewing the allegiance of the members of the Association of Combatant Clerics to the late Imam, said, ‘I believe that the Islamic Republic can meet the needs of our time, the demands of the people, and pave the way towards a better life, which this nation deserves.’
I hope that the Almighty God guides us in defending the Imam or at least declaring our position on how we recognize him, what he and the people wanted, and if any deviation is found, what we should do to save ourselves from that deviation, so that we can act in accordance with His satisfaction, the well-being of the people of the country, and the society.
