The head of Nasimshahr Council was arrested.
The public and revolutionary prosecutor of Baharestan County announced the arrest of the head of Nasimshahr Council, who had been in hiding, and stated that the suspect had gone into hiding by changing his appearance.
Following the formation of a judicial case regarding the head of Nasimshahr Council and his pursuit, it was stated that after the issuance of an arrest warrant, the head of Nasimshahr Council, who had been in hiding by changing his appearance, was arrested by the officers of the Public Security Police in the western part of Tehran province.
It was further added that the head of Nasimshahr Council is currently in the hands of judicial authorities for handling the case.
The prosecutor of Baharestan concluded by emphasizing the decisive action of the security and judicial authorities against corruption, noting that this council member has been arrested on charges of financial corruption, misuse of authority and position, and exerting influence.
