The police commander of Fouman arrested 7 people for publishing insulting content about the helicopter crash of Raeisi

The police commander of Fouman announced that 7 individuals were arrested for spreading insulting content regarding the helicopter crash of President Raeisi.

The police commander of Fouman stated that seven individuals have been identified and detained for spreading insulting content about the victims of the helicopter crash involving the President and his entourage.

Mehr News Agency quoted Hamidreza Feizi as saying that following the dissemination of insulting content, including text and images aimed at disturbing public opinion about the deceased in the helicopter crash, the matter was placed on the police’s agenda in cyberspace.

He added that these seven suspects, six men and one woman, were identified and arrested in separate operations in Fouman County, and after the formation of a case, they were handed over to the judicial authorities for legal proceedings.

Furthermore, the news agency Hirana reported that comedian Kamyar Bamdad from Talesh has also been detained in connection with this incident. Civil activist Gohar Eshghi also wrote on Instagram that the comedian’s arrest took place after posting an Instagram story referring to Raeisi’s helicopter crash.

In the past few days, there have been reports of threats, phone warnings, and blocking of bank accounts of individuals who expressed joy over the death of Ebrahim Raeisi.
