Bitcoin price near the $17,000 channel, 5% jump for Ethereum
In the early hours of Wednesday’s trading, Bitcoin’s price and the cryptocurrency market saw growth, with most coins in the green zone.
The global cryptocurrency market value is currently $853.5 billion, showing a 2.16% increase compared to the previous day.
Additionally, the total trading volume has decreased by 12.6% over the past 24 hours, reaching $462.2 billion.
On the other hand, $462.9 million in short positions in Bitcoin futures were liquidated over the past 24 hours. Bitcoin is trading with an increase of over 2% at $16,853, and Ethereum with a jump of over 5% at $1,269.
Other well-known cryptocurrencies like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Ripple, and Cardano also saw price increases.
