Chairman of the Founding Board of the Currency Exchange Association: Expect a 40,000 Toman Dollar
Simultaneously with the visit of Xi Jinping, the President of China, to Riyadh and the potential increase in Saudi Arabia’s oil sales to China, the dollar’s price reached the 37,000 Toman mark.
Continuing the upward trend of prices in the Tehran currency and gold market, the dollar’s price surpassed 36,800 Tomans on Saturday, December 10.
Ali Asghar Samiei, Chairman of the Founding Board of the Currency Exchange Association, stated that the dollar’s price has been artificially kept low. If prices were realistic, one could expect the dollar rate to reach 40,000 Tomans.
