Decline in Russia’s Trade with Europe
The European Statistics Office announced that Russia’s share in EU exports decreased from 4% to 2% from February to December 2022.
The share of imports also fell by 52%, reaching 43% in the same period.
The European Statistics Office also stated that Europe’s trade deficit with Russia reached 182 billion euros (193 billion dollars) in March 2022 and decreased to 6 billion euros by December last year.
