Electricity cut off for 17 high-consumption offices in Tehran

IRNA news agency reports that by order of Iran’s Ministry of Energy, electricity has been cut off for 17 administrative customers who have not reduced their electricity consumption.

This decision was made as part of the plan to deal with high-consumption offices and also due to the renewed increase in temperature.

Previously, according to a government cabinet resolution in Iran, administrative sectors were asked to reduce their electricity consumption by 30% during office hours and by 60% during non-office hours.

Implementation of this resolution was declared mandatory for all executive bodies, offices, banks, and non-governmental public institutions.
