Elon Musk has donated $2 billion worth of Tesla shares

According to U.S. stock market documents, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, donated nearly $2 billion of his shares in the company last year.

The documents do not mention the names of those to whom the ownership of these shares was transferred.

This is not the first time Elon Musk has donated a portion of his assets.

According to the same documents, he also donated $5.74 billion of his assets in 2021.

Musk also said on Wednesday that about 10 months from now, by the end of the year, would be a suitable time to find someone to take over as CEO of Twitter.

Last year, in a headline-grabbing move, Elon Musk took control of the social network by purchasing a portion of Twitter’s shares, and he is currently the CEO of the company.
