According to what has appeared on social media, Farhad Baghbani, a journalist and civil activist, was sentenced to 18 months of imprisonment by the third branch of the Revolutionary Court in Ahvaz.

He has been accused of propaganda against the regime by burying one of his friends with the Lion and Sun flag and membership in the Pan-Iranist Party.

Farhad Baghbani had previously been sentenced to prison in September 2011 due to his membership in the Pan-Iranist Party.
