Fire on cargo dhows carrying imported goods in Bahman Port, Qeshm

According to reports from Iran, two cargo dhows caught fire this morning, Friday, April 28th, at Bahman Port in Qeshm.

These two dhows, named Simorgh 2 and 11482, were carrying imported goods from the countries bordering the Persian Gulf and caught fire for unknown reasons.

The value and quantity of goods on these two vessels are not specified.

IRNA news agency reported that fire-fighting teams are present at the port’s dock at the time of this report, and after the fire is fully contained, the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage will be investigated.
