Haghighatpour: We will likely witness the revival of the JCPOA in the coming days.
Mansour Haghighatpour, regarding the latest news on the negotiations to revive the JCPOA, said, ‘I do not know if the necessity of preventing the U.S. from exiting again has been discussed within the framework of the agreements, but a solution must have been devised, and perhaps the Europeans have provided the necessary guarantees and made promises. We do not have the necessary details. It is generally true that the nature of American officials is not inherently good, and we hope the Americans have learned manners. The more they pressure us, the more resilient our nation becomes. Currently, the breakout point has reached a week, and we have achieved this capacity. The conditions for the U.S. have changed drastically compared to 2016.’
He added, ‘It seems the fundamental issues have been resolved and an agreement has been reached. Certainly, many of these matters will be documented and considered as a record. My outlook is positive, and we will likely witness the final signing of the agreement in the coming days.’
