After the explosion at Rajaei Port, approximately 700 people have repeatedly filed claims for damages, according to Hormozgan Judiciary.

The head of the Hormozgan Judiciary says that following the explosion at Rajaei Port, about 700 people have filed repeated claims for damages.

According to Hamshahri Online, Mojtaba Gahramani stated that a drug-related suspect even declared his own death to both receive compensation and have his legal case closed.

Hamshahri Online reported today, Tuesday, May 19, quoting Mr. Gahramani, that currently 70 people are under interrogation and no specific time has been set for the payment of damages.

The head of the Hormozgan Judiciary also mentioned that regarding the missing persons from this incident, the family of one of the victims, who were searching for their loved one until yesterday, found only a set of keys belonging to him.

The explosion at Rajaei Port on April 26 resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.
