Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with the Saudi Foreign Minister in Jordan

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, said on Wednesday that he met with his Saudi counterpart at the Baghdad II conference in Jordan and added that the Saudi Foreign Minister assured him that Riyadh is ready to continue dialogue with Tehran.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian described his conversation with his Saudi counterpart as friendly on his Twitter account.

The Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministry has not yet responded to this news.

Amir-Abdollahian said he also spoke with the Foreign Ministers of Oman, Qatar, Iraq, and Kuwait.
