IMF Report: Iran's Government Debt to Increase by a Thousand Trillion Tomans

The International Monetary Fund report states that Iran’s government debt will increase by one thousand trillion tomans.

In its latest report on the global economic situation, the International Monetary Fund has also referred to Iran’s statistics, stating that it is expected that this year, Iran’s economic growth will decrease and the net government debt will increase by one thousand trillion tomans.

According to this report, which was published on the International Monetary Fund’s website on Tuesday, April 11, Iran’s GDP grew by 25 percent last year, but it is expected to grow by only two percent this year.
