The chairman of the board of directors of the Tehran Province Egg-Laying Poultry Union stated that the per capita consumption of eggs in the country is 15 kilograms, and the cost price for farmers is 43,000 tomans per kilogram.

Nasser Nabipour mentioned that egg consumption has increased, and the per capita consumption of eggs in the country has reached 15 kilograms because eggs are the cheapest protein.
