In a message on the social media platform X, Netanyahu said that the cabinet, under my leadership, unanimously decided to shut down the inciting Al Jazeera channel in Israel

The Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz reported that the Israeli cabinet has authorized Shlomo Karhi, the Israeli Minister of Communications, to issue an order to stop the broadcasting of this network in Palestine in Arabic and English

This decision includes closing Al Jazeera’s offices in Palestine and confiscating the equipment used by the network’s staff, with the exception of phones and computers

The Israeli Minister of Communications has also been asked to restrict access from Palestine to the network’s website
