The Prime Minister of the Israeli government spent yesterday actively fulfilling the role of an anti-JCPOA Israeli Prime Minister. Besides meeting with Americans, he also had a phone conversation with the German Chancellor.

The conversation between the two parties took place following Mahmoud Abbas’s visit to Berlin and his harsh statements against Israel. Both leaders condemned Mahmoud Abbas’s remarks. However, Yair Lapid specifically discussed the JCPOA with Scholz and called for the halting of the finalization of the JCPOA and for no new concessions to be given to Iran.
