Japan Returns to White List for Trade with Seoul

Japan’s Return to the Trade White List with Seoul

Yoon Suk-yeol, the President of South Korea, ordered the implementation of procedures in his government after his meeting last week with Fumio Kishida, the Prime Minister of Japan, to add Japan to the so-called white list. This move aims to strengthen and elevate the trade relations between the two countries.

He stated that Japan and South Korea should strive to resolve the disputes that hinder the development of bilateral relations.

He also emphasized that the relationship with Japan should be developed based on a win-win equation.
